Anderson Island biking

A few weeks ago  we boarded the ferry at Steilacoom, WA  to bike around Anderson Island. It’s the southernmost island on the Puget Sound. We walked onto the ferry with our bikes for $5.00. The main road on the island is only about 5 miles long. It’s mostly flat with a few hills. Once the ferry traffic dispersed, the road was mostly empty. It was a great ride.

The marina on the far side of the island. We took a break here.

We spent some time at this beach waiting for our ferry. It was a beautiful day. We could see Mount Rainier.
