Ruby Beach

Located a few miles to the north of Kalaloch Campground, and right off of Highway 101 is Ruby Beach. I think out of all of the beaches we visited in the Olympic National Park, Ruby beach was my favorite. It had so many gorgeous elements to it: logs, rocks, sand, sea stacks, wildlife (like birds with orange beaks), and tidal pools. We visited the mostly empty beach at sunset, and it was stunning.  The beach is pretty accessible with just a .2 mile hike down. There is a viewpoint at the parking lot as well.

These pictures were all taken by my husband – Dave. He did such a great job. Enjoy!
