Ebey’s Landing is a National Historic Reserve (the first one in the Unite States) that has a beautiful hike along the bluff overlooking the Puget Sound. To access the Bluff Trail. you can park near the cemetery and walk through the prairie. This route will allow you to see the historic homestead of Jacob and Sarah Ebey. If you are short on time, you can also park near the beach at the end of Ebey’s Landing Road. Both parking lots require different parking passes to make sure you have your Washington State Discover Pass or your National Park Service pass with you.
I only walked up .75 miles along the bluff but I hear the full hike is beautiful and worth doing. The full loop is 5.6 miles long and requires some beach walking. This is a good hike to do with a family.
